Welcome to the PYD Post!
Our vision for this website is simple: to give you a closer look at life at Panyaden and keep you updated on all the exciting events happening at our school. Whether it’s Sports Day, the End of Year Celebration, or Songkran Day, we aim to keep you informed and connected to our school community.
The PYD Post is a student-led website. Our mission is to share our stories in a fun and educational way, while focusing on Buddhist-based values. We want to create a safe, positive space that is welcoming to everyone, no matter their age.
Here at the PYD Post, you’ll find a mix of stories, videos, and other fun content. We aim to be inclusive and provide something for all ages. Our goal is to not only inform but also inspire, sharing the unique experiences that make Panyaden a special place.
Principles of Journalism
At the PYD Post, we follow ten key principles of journalism to ensure that our content is accurate, fair, and meaningful. These principles guide us in delivering trustworthy stories that inform, challenge, and inspire. They remind us that journalism is not just about sharing facts, but about uncovering the truth, being responsible, and constantly improving.
- Finding the truth takes time.
- What you think is true might not be.
- Facts are more credible than opinion.
- Become an expert to have a strong opinion.
- Bias will show up in your writing.
- Writing is a skill to develop.
- Information is more than just facts.
- Journalism can change opinions.
- Journalism can challenge institutions.
- Research is the key to powerful journalism.
